As we age and stop learning/evolving, (but not consuming), our brains pathways start to ossify and this shows up in convergence in thinking along typical patterns

It's familiar enough in political persuasion - stong (and irrational) feelings and views develop towards political parties, ideologies etc.

As our brains start deteriorating, (what a process to witness!), one leans more and more into these heuristics.

It's an interesting thing to map - where someone starts conforming to rigid patterns of thinking - and to see which framework they have selected (or has selected them).
